I recently moved to Pensacola, Florida from from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. I am a graphic designer, wife to Chris, mom of Abby, a 2020 graduate of University of Arkansas and grant writer for Taking Ground in Siloam Springs, AR, and David, a computer Audio Visual Technician in Fayetteville, AR. I earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from Eastern Kentucky University in 1989. I moved to Northwest Arkansas to work for DaySpring Greeting Cards as a graphic designer. That's how I met my husband, Chris, who was born and raised in Siloam Springs. We raised our family and spent 30 years in Northwest Arkansas. Now we look forward to serving the Northern Gulf Coast area, spending time with my Aunt, and exploring my Southern roots!
Through this education and a career of being surrounded by professional fine artists and designers, I came to love graphic design and the letterform. I entered the design world when computers were taking over the industry. I have sharpened my craft and maintained my skills in the art and on both computer platforms of Mac and PC. In my career I have designed for web, print, t-shirts, social media, packaging and marketing items. With me you get cutting edge technology as well as the experience needed to communicate your message clearly and timelessly. Working as an independent designer has given me the added ability to be available to you. No more standing in line behind the big guy flashing the money. You have the same need for your items as every business. I am committed to giving you my best to help your project take off. |
I also own another business kin to graphics and in the art community. I established Something From Nothing Paint Parties in February 2015. The idea for paint parties came from this passion of wanting to share art and the fun feeling of accomplishment with others who have never painted or just aren't able. With a little guidance, a "judgement free zone," and the encouragement of friends, anyone can enjoy painting and walk away with a work of art. I have designed a collection of paintings that with some simple techniques, the right tools, and a little encouragement, anyone can make Something from Nothing!
